Acquired:
Signed as a free-agent with the Tiger-Cats on May 10th, 2004.
2006:
Started the final eight games of the regular season at left tackle following his released from the Washington Redskins…made his 2006 debut in Hamilton’s 51-8 loss to Saskatchewan on August 26th.
2005:
Started 17 games at left tackle during his second season with the Tiger-Cats, missing Hamilton’s 15-9 victory over Montreal on November 4th…made one defensive tackle during the regular season.
2004:
Was a rarity in the world of pro football by the fact he made the Tiger-Cats after attending their open try-out…not only did he make the team, he made a major impact, starting all 18 games during the regular season for the Tiger-Cats at left tackle…had three defensive tackles.
College:
Played two seasons (2001-02) at the University of Louisville after transferring from San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California...started 11 of 23 career games at Louisville. (2002) Played in 11 games during the regular season, missing the Cardinals September 14th match-up at Colorado State. (2001) During his junior year Woodard started 11 games at offensive tackle. (1998-99) Played two seasons at San Joaquin Delta College...was a first-team All-America selection by the California Community College Football Coaches and a Gridwire honorable mention All-America selection...voted most valuable offensive lineman...protected a 3,000-yard passer and opened holes for an 800-yard rusher in 1999.
Personal:
Born July 22nd, 1978...son of Sheila Hanson...attended Lincoln High School and was an All-San Joaquin Athletic Association choice as a senior.
