Jonathan Goddard (Jonathan Bruce Goddard) was born on May 11, 1981 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at Ed White (FL), Goddard attended Marshall University. Goddard made his professional debut in the NFL in 2005 with the Indianapolis Colts. He played for the Indianapolis Colts for his entire 1 year career.
Johnathan Goddard dies in motorcycle accident Jun 15, 2008
Former Marshall University player Johnathan Goddard died following a motorcycle accident Saturday evening in northern Florida.
Florida Highway Patrol officer Ron Cooper confirmed that Johnathan Bruce Goddard was killed in the single vehicle accident in Clay County, Fla. The accident occurred at 7:46 p.m. Saturday, and Goddard was pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m. at Shands Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla.
Goddard ranks among the Thundering Herd’s all-time greats, earning All American honors following his 2004 senior season. He then graduated to the National Football League, where he was drafted by the Detroit Lions and later played for the Indianapolis Colts.
