Jon Sawyer (Jonathan LaJuan Sawyer) was born on April 6, 1965. After going to high school at Hialeah (Miami, FL), Sawyer attended Merced College and the University of Cincinnati. Sawyer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
