Jon Klemm started the 2005-06 National Hockey League season with the Dallas Stars. He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, having won playoff championships with the Colorado Avalanche in 1996 and 2001. He also won six-straight division titles (1996 to 2001), two Presidents' Trophies (1997, 2001) and two Clarence Campbell Bowls (1996, 2001).
He scored a career-high 24 points on the Avalanche's blueline in 1996-97. Beside the two Stanley Cup runs, Jon also reached the Western Conference final in 1997, 1999, and 2000. In 2001-02, he signed with the Chicago Blackhawks and finished ninth overall in the league with 243 hits. In 2003-04, he was traded to the Dallas Stars. From 1991-92 to 1994-95, Jon split his time between the NHL (Québec Nordiques) and American League (Cornwall Aces, Halifax Citadels).
At the major-junior level, Jon played three seasons for the Western League's Spokane Chiefs. In 1990-91, he was named a WHL West Second Team All-Star. He then won both the President's Cup and Memorial Cup. At year's end on May 14, 1991, he signed with the Québec Nordiques.
