Jon Giesler (Jon William Giesler) was born on December 23, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio. After going to high school at Woodmore (Elmore, OH), Giesler attended the University of Michigan. Giesler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 10 year career.
