Johnson struggles, but the Yankees still get sweep

Randy Johnson allowed 5 runs in 6.2 innings of work, but the Yankees scored 10 for him to complete the 2 game sweep of the Devil Rays. Johnson improved to 5-2 on the year despite a 5.02 ERA. Doug Waechter got the start for the Rays, allowing 4 runs in 4 IP, but it was Chad Orvella who took the loss, dropping to 1-2 on the season.

Ty Wigginton hit his 9th home run in a losing effort. Hideki Matsui went 3-5 with his 4th home run. Johnny Damon hit an 8th inning grand slam off of Dan Miceli, also his 4th homer.
