Johnny Sturm (John Peter Joseph Sturm) was born on January 23, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1941 for the New York Yankees. In 1941, his rookie year, he hit .239 with 3 home runs and 36 RBI. Sturm played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career.
