Johnny Schaive (John Edward Schaive) was born on February 25, 1934 in Springfield, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1958 for the Washington Senators. In 1962, his rookie year, he hit .253 with 6 home runs and 29 RBI. Schaive played for the Washington Senators for his entire 4 year career.
