Born on May 5, 1925 in Belleville, Ontario (Canada), Johnny Rutherford (John William Rutherford) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career. Rutherford broke into the bigs on April 30, 1952 with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and put up a 4.25 ERA in 97.1 innings pitched in 1952, his rookie year.
