Johnny Riddle (John Ludy Riddle) was born on October 3, 1905 in Clinton, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1930 for the Chicago White Sox. Riddle played for the Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, Boston Braves, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 7 year career.
