Johnny Pramesa (John Steven Pramesa) was born on August 28, 1925 in Barton, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 24, 1949 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1950, his rookie year, he hit .307 with 5 home runs and 30 RBI. Pramesa played for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Johnny Pramesa's best season was 1950, when he hit for a .307 average.
