Johnny Peacock (Johnny Byron Peacock) was born on March 2, 1947 in Austin, Texas. After going to high school at Goliad (TX), Peacock attended the University of Houston. Peacock made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the Houston Oilers. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time. Peacock also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1970 was Johnny Peacock's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
