Johnny Papit (John Michael Papit) was born on July 25, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Northeast (Philadelphia, PA), Papit attended the University of Virginia. Papit made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1952 was Johnny Papit's best year.
