Johnny Oehler (John Walter Oehler) was born on August 5, 1910 in Staunton, Illinois. Oehler attended Purdue University. Oehler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1934 was Johnny Oehler's best year.
