Johnny Meads (Johnny Sand Meads) was born on June 25, 1961 in Labadieville, Louisiana. After going to high school at Assumption (Napoleonville, LA), Meads attended Nicholls State University. Meads made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1988 was Johnny Meads's best year, as he recorded 8 sacks.
