Johnny Lewis

Johnny Lewis (Johnny Joe Lewis) was born on August 10, 1939 in Greenville, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1964 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1965, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 15 home runs and 45 RBI. Lewis played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Johnny Lewis's best season was 1965, when he slugged 15 home runs.
