Johnny Heimsch (John Cyrus Heimsch) was born on September 18, 1902 in Rosebush, Michigan. After going to high school at Washington (Milwaukee, WI), Heimsch attended Marquette University. Heimsch made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Milwaukee Badgers for his entire 1 year career.
