Johnny Gildea

Johnny Gildea (John T. Gildea) was born on March 9, 1910 in Boston Run, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Coaldale (PA), Gildea attended St. Bonaventure University. Gildea made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1937 was Johnny Gildea's best year.
