Johnny Clowes

Johnny Clowes (John Alexander Clowes) was born on December 15, 1921 in Williamsburg, Virginia. After going to high school at Fork Union (VA) Military Academy and Mathew Whaley (Williamsburg, VA), Clowes attended The College of William & Mary. Clowes made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Chicago Hornets and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year AAFC career.Clowes also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the New York Yanks the entire time.
