Johnny Carson (Johnny Richard Carson) was born on January 31, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Atlanta, GA), Carson attended the University of Georgia. Carson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Washington Redskins the entire time. Carson also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Houston Oilers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1960 was Johnny Carson's best year, as he hauled in 45 receptions, had 604 receiving yards and caught 4 TD passes.
