Johnny Butler (Johnny W. Butler) was born on September 10, 1918 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Butler attended the University of Tennessee. Butler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, chicago/pittsburgh and Philadelphia/Pittsburgh over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1943 was Johnny Butler's best year.
