Johnny Bucha

Johnny Bucha (John George Bucha) was born on January 22, 1925 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1948 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1953, his rookie year, he hit .222 with 1 home run and 14 RBI. Bucha played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 3 year career.
