Johnny Bryan (John Frederick Bryan) was born on February 28, 1897 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at La Grange, IL, Bryan attended Dartmouth College and Unversity of Chicago. Bryan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Bears, Milwaukee Badgers and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.
