John Yurchey (John Henry Yurchey) was born on November 12, 1917 in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. Yurchey attended Duquesne University. Yurchey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
