John Yarno (John R. Yarno) was born on December 17, 1954 in Spokane, Washington. After going to high school at Ferris (Spokane, WA) and Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA), Yarno attended the University of Idaho. Yarno made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Seattle Seahawks. He played for the Seattle Seahawks for his entire 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was John Yarno's best year.
