Personal John is the son of John ‘Twiggy’ Williams, who played with four teams in his eight year CFL career (Calgary Stampeders 1967, Hamilton Tiger-Cats 1969-1974, Edmonton Eskimos 1974 & Toronto Argonauts 1975). The two are the only father/son combo who both have their names on the Grey Cup. He attended Waterdown High School where he was team MVP. “JDubbs” lives in Hamilton with his wife Lyndsey, their twin boys Taye and Kai, and their two dogs, Thatcher and Jazz. He spent the off-season as a regular contributor to the Argos Huddle-Up Against Bullying program. His charity of choice is Breast Cancer research, a disease his mother survived.
