John Adams (John William Adams) was born on September 22, 1921 in Charleston, Arkansas. After going to high school at Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR), Adams attended the University of Notre Dame. Adams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1946 was John Adams's best year.
