John Wiethe

John Wiethe (John Albert Wiethe) was born on October 17, 1912 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH) and Xavier (Cincinnati, OH), Wiethe attended Xavier University. Wiethe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1941 was John Wiethe's best year.
