Born on June 24, 1869 in Louisville, Kentucky, John Weyhing (John Weyhing) played for the Cincinnati Reds and Columbus Colts over the course of his 2 year career. Weyhing broke into the bigs on July 13, 1888 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 1.23 ERA in 65.2 innings pitched in 1888, his rookie year.
