John Alexander (John Wesley Alexander) was born on November 12, 1955 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After going to high school at Plainfield (NJ), Alexander attended Rutgers State University of New Jersey. Alexander made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 2 year career.
