John Wallace (John James Wallace) was born on September 2, 1904 in , IL. After going to high school at Emerson (Gary, IN), Wallace attended the University of Notre Dame. Wallace made his professional debut in the NFL in 1928 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Dayton Triangles and Chicago Bears over the course of his 2 year career.
