John Vesser (John Martin Vesser) was born on October 1, 1900 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. After going to high school at Idaho Falls (ID), Vesser attended the University of Idaho. Vesser made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the Los Angeles Wildcats. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Wildcats the entire time. Vesser also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals the entire time.
