John Treadway (John Charles Treadway) was born on August 21, 1917 in Berings, Texas. Treadway attended Hardin-Simmons University and Lon Morris College. Treadway made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the New York Giants. He played for the Detroit Lions and New York Giants over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1949 was John Treadway's best year.
