John Thomason (John Griffin Thomason) was born on February 24, 1906 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at Tech (Atlanta, GA), Thomason attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Thomason made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1936 was John Thomason's best year.
