John Teerlinck (John Edward Teerlinck) was born on April 9, 1951 in Rochester, New York. After going to high school at Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), Teerlinck attended Ellsworth CC and Western Illinois University. Teerlinck made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 2 year career.
