John Stuper

Born on May 9, 1957 in Butler, Pennsylvania, John Stuper (John Anton Stuper) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 4 year career. Stuper broke into the bigs on June 1, 1982 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.36 ERA in 136.2 innings pitched in 1982, his rookie year.
Most people believe that John Stuper's best season was 1983, when he posted a 3.68 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 81 batters.
