John Stock (John Harvey Stock) was born on March 7, 1933 in Weirton, West Virginia. After going to high school at Scott Township (PA), Stock attended the University of Pittsburgh. Stock made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
