John Steber (John Warren Steber) was born on September 12, 1923 in Mobile, Alabama. After going to high school at Murphy (Mobile, AL), Steber attended Georgia Institure of Technology and Vanderbilt Universtiy. Steber made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was John Steber's best year.
