John Sipin (John White Sipin) was born on August 29, 1946 in Watsonville, California. He made his Major League debut on May 24, 1969 for the San Diego Padres. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .223 with 2 home runs and 9 RBI. Sipin played for the San Diego Padres for his entire 1 year career.
