Born on July 7, 1929 in Harrisburg, Illinois, John Romonosky (John Romonosky) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Senators over the course of his 3 year career. Romonosky broke into the bigs on September 6, 1953 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 6.51 ERA in 55.1 innings pitched in 1958, his rookie year.
