John Rogers (John Bert Rogers) was born on January 18, 1910. After going to high school at Alexis (IL), Rogers attended the University of Notre Dame. Rogers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Cincinnati-St. Louis Reds-Gunners and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
