John Rodgers (John Darren Rodgers) was born on February 7, 1960 in Omaha, Texas. After going to high school at Daingerfield (TX), Rodgers attended Louisiana Institute of Technology. Rodgers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1983 was John Rodgers's best year.
