John Roderick (John William Roderick) was born on August 21, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Highland Park (Dallas, TX), Roderick attended Southern Methodist University. Roderick made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1966 was John Roderick's best year.

He now lives near Lake Fork Texas.
