CAREER: Hard-working player who can play a variety of positions...Moved back to center during spring practice but can also play guard, H-back and fullback...Has been the team's long snapper for punts the last two seasons and can snap for placekicks...Moved from the offensive line to H-back/fullback in 2006 because of his stellar blocking abilities...Has played in 32 games over the last three seasons...Sat out the 2003 season as a redshirt freshman...Graduated in December 2006 with a degree in business management and is pursuing a second degree in marketing.

2006 (JUNIOR): Handled the long snapping duties for punts all season (and did not have any bad snaps)...Also saw action as a blocker at H-back and fullback...Played H-back in games vs. Florida A&M, Louisville, Houston, North Carolina and Duke.

2005 (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 12 games as the long snapper for punts and as a backup guard...Handled the snapping duties for both placekicks and punts for the season's first three games, then snapped for punts the final nine contests...Saw action as a reserve guard in five games (Colorado, Duke, Temple, North Carolina, Wake Forest)...For the season, totaled one pancake block and one metrorail, with no sacks allowed.

2004 (FRESHMAN): Played in seven games all season snapping for punts...Took over the long-snapping duties from an injured Greg Olsen for the final five games...Played vs. Louisiana Tech, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Virginia, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Florida...Did not have any bad snaps.

2003 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2003 season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-way player who excelled on offense and defense...Versatile lineman whose ability to finish blocks caught the eye of recruiters...Averaged more than two pancake blocks per game over the span of his last two seasons...As a senior in 2002, made 87 tackles, nine sacks, recovered four fumbles and deflected three passes as a defensive lineman...Helped lead his team to the state title in 2002...Rated the No. 26 player in New Jersey by Allen Wallace's SuperPrep...Rated the nation's No. 9 center by Rivals.com...Excellent student who had a 3.2 grade-point average...Chose Miami over Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin and Temple...Coached by Bob Coffey.
