John Rapacz (John J. Rapacz) was born on April 25, 1925 in Rosedale, Ohio. After going to high school at Central (Kalamazoo, MI), Rapacz attended the University of Oklahoma and Western Michigan University. Rapacz made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the Chicago Rockets. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Chicago Hornets and Chicago Rockets over the course of his 2 year AAFC career.Rapacz also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the New York Giants the entire time.

Most people believe that 1950 was John Rapacz's best year.
