John Preston (John Stanley Preston) was born on August 28, 1962 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX), Preston attended Texas Christian University and the University of Central Oklahoma. Preston made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
