John Powers (John Paul Powers) was born on June 15, 1940 in Harvard, Illinois. After going to high school at Campion Prep (Prairie du Chien, WI), Powers attended the University of Notre Dame. Powers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1964 was John Powers's best year.
