John Pohlman (John Theodore Pohlman) was born on September 18, 1902 in New Haven, Connecticut. After going to high school at New Haven (CT), Pohlman attended Brown University. Pohlman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Providence Steam Roller. He played for the Providence Steam Roller for his entire 1 year career.
