John Pickett (John Thomas Pickett) was born on February 20, 1866 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on June 6, 1889 for the Kansas City Cowboys. In 1889, his rookie year, he hit .224 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Pickett played for the Kansas City Cowboys, Philadelphia Athletics and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 3 year career.
