John Pentecost (John Mathew Pentecost) was born on December 23, 1943 in Lawndale, California. After going to high school at Orange (CA), Pentecost attended Santa Ana College and the University of California - Los Angeles. Pentecost made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 1 year career.
